risograph illustration
Forget Adventure is a personal illustration project printed as a limited edition risograph of only 30 numbered copies, each protected in a plastic zip-lock bag.
The subject of the illustration is the Ethiopian wolf. This species is the third rarest canid in the world, with an estimated wild population of less than 500 individuals, mainly found in the Bale Mountains National Park in central Ethiopia. Listed as endangered by the International Union for Conservation of Nature, the illustration places the Ethiopian wolf in an imaginary, utopian landscape, evoking a sense of reverie and the idealised coexistence of nature and fantasy.
